Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav himself has announced this. He told that the new Vande Bharat train will soon be seen running on the Saharanpur to Delhi track. He said that the track is being developed to run Vande Bharat Express on Saharanpur to Delhi route so that this train can talk to air at a speed of 150 kmph. At present, four Vande Bharat Express are running in the country while the fifth train will be started soon between Chennai-Mysuru.
According to a report in Times Now, Vaishnav, who was on Saharanpur tour, announced to run Vande Bharat Express on Saharanpur-Delhi route. However, he did not make it clear from when this vehicle would be operated. Vaishnav informed that an architect has also been appointed to bring Saharanpur railway station in the world class category. Eminent people of the city will give their valuable suggestions for this. He said that preparations are being made to connect all the Jain pilgrimage places across the country with the railway network.
25 new trains will run this year
Vaishnav accused the previous government of not working and said that the UPA people did not pay attention to the development related to rail in a big state like Uttar Pradesh. The budget of the state was Rs 11.09 crore then, but the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi increased it to Rs 14,761 crore. Railways plans to run 27 Vande Bharat Express in this financial year.
Railways had introduced the first Vande Bharat train in 2019. It was the prototype of the Vande Bharat train and was named Train 18. Two such trains were started from Delhi to Varanasi and Katra. Recently Gandhinagar-Mumbai and Una-Delhi Vande Bharat Express have been started. The new Vande Bharat trains have a variety of facilities. These have Kavach Anti Train Collision System and emergency windows are installed in every coach. Also, it takes less time to catch the speed of 160 kmph.
