The RRR squad posted a statement of thanks on Twitter after the victory.

Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, two vocalists, sang Naatu Naatu live during the 95th Academy Awards in addition to the song winning. A standing ovation was given for the performance as dancers led by Lauren Gottlieb joined the two on stage. Bollywood starlet Deepika Padukone introduced the performance; she is the third Indian to present at the Academy Awards following Priyanka Chopra and Persis Khambatta.



The 95th Academy Awards gave India its second award, for Best Original Music with Naatu Naatu. In the Best Documentary Short Subject category, The Elephant Whisperers also took home an Oscar. The Best Documentary Feature Film category also included Everything That Breathes among the nominations. Navalny won the Oscar in this category.

Also film director Rajamouli, Alia Bhatt, South Indian greatest actor Chiranjeevi and many other actors and directors expressed their opinion on Twitter respecting this success of Indian cinema.
